Organized as a promotional event for the WRC in 2019, then canceled last spring for budgetary reasons and finally integrated into the world calendar a few months later. Based in Tartu (the second largest city in the country), the event will also mark an important date for the WRC which will pass the 600 events mark.

As for the course, the recovery will be "light" with 17 specials to go for a total of 232.64 kilometers timed.
